These were my Dad, Jimmy Allen’s, favourite flowers
He planted them everywhere he could
They now grow, prolifically, in all of the gardens
of our family and neighbours
They are a constant reminder of him, no matter where I go
He always encouraged us to
– Keep learning
– Enjoy life
– Chase our dreams
– Believe in ourselves
– Find what we want to do in life and do it enthusiastically
– Be authentic
– Love
His legacy to me is his strength and determination
Because of his constant presence
I do what I do today
And I am who I am today
He passed over in 2003
