I’m Richard, wedding filmmaker. I’m recently single, have an incredible 12 year old son and a legend of a dog, my 3 yr old Golden Doodle Danny.
I have shot nearly 400 weddings now, with the best photographers, in the best and most interesting venues, and I think I’m producing the most creative and technically proficient work of my life in 2021.
It’s taken a few years to get here, but I’ve always tried to strive to have a business based on strong values and an ethos of customer service. I don’t and won’t always succeed but I really try! The main thing I push for is a strong commitment to both beautifully shot films and precious family moments captured forever. I always believe that I’m only a conduit for my couples’ style and personality, and I try to mould myself into the day, the atmosphere and the mood, and be chatty, or quiet, supportive, helpful and always calm. Contemplating life through the shockwave of Covid, I need to have quality time with my son and family’s am reducing the number of bookings I take per year.
I want to work with couples who really want to work with me and who are heavily invested not just financially but also in helping me make a family document that will literally last forever.Richard has one son David who is nearly thirteen and a magnificent Golden Doodle called Danny. I live in Clonsilla, West Dublin and when not shooting and editing wedding and corporate video, I enjoy playing the piano and doing a bit of cooking. I was lucky enough to be a contestant on Masterchef Ireland in 2011 and learnt so much about the food industry during that process. I also played keyboards professionally for many years, including over 10 years playing in wedding bands. So, weddings are in my DNA at this stage.
